THE FOUNDERS

Skipper Holliman and Gentry Long bring their combined 40-plus years of industry knowledge and experience to HomeStretch, where in February 2010 the very first product rolled off of the line at the Nettleton factory.

THE FIRST

The first collection introduced by HomeStretch was the “101.” Created by our exclusive designer, the style quickly caught on and became the company’s best seller for seven straight years.

THE FUNDAMENTALS

Our exclusive designer begins by hand-sketching a concept drawing for each new product, carefully locating lines and curves to blend practicality, functionality, and visual appeal.

THE FOUNDATION

Our exclusive four-sided cushion anchoring system is designed to provide the optimum amount of support, to prevent sagging or sinking, and to maintain adequate softness and comfort from the seating surface.

THE FRAME

Our 100% plywood frame is secured with mortise and tenon joints and contains zero OSB or particle board, widely known to be less durable components. Additionally, we incorporate a hardwood seat box with an “edge to edge” design to prevent gaps or sagging along the sides of our seat cushions, as well as a solid, one-piece arm on most styles for added strength and stability.

THE FINISH

Each piece of HomeStretch furniture is upholstered by an experienced technician who carefully adheres the selected cover to the entire frame, leaving no wooden portion exposed. Even the bottom of our frames are fully covered with a polyester fabric to present a clean finish from all sides.

THE FULFILLMENT

We stock nearly 18,000 pieces of furniture in our four warehouses, and all are available for immediate shipment. Though supply-chain issues do occasionally impact our industry, we try not to accept or make excuses for such disruptions. Instead, we search for innovative and alternative ways to provide the same quality product with little-to-no delay to our customers.
