In a show of solidarity to raise awareness for breast cancer and all those affected by it, employees at the HomeStretch facility in Nettleton, MS showed up in droves with pink ribbons, pink t-shirts, and even pink bandanas. The goal in bringing awareness to this disease is to remember those who were taken from us far too soon, to encourage those who are still in the fight, and to celebrate those who have fought and won the battle! According to the Susan G. Komen organization website, "October is a time annually devoted to educating everyone about breast cancer — including metastatic breast cancer (MBC) — and the importance of early detection and access to timely, high-quality care."
